This attractive Hitachi KH180-3 of Crane-House from Chaam (NL) was assembled in the port area of Amsterdam (NL). It is a 50-tonne crawler crane.

The crane is powered by a Hino EM100, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with an output of 110 kW (150 hp). The diesel engine drives a total of three hydraulic pumps.

The undercarriage is 5.52 metres long and 4.3 metres wide in working configuration. For road transport the width can be reduced to 3.3 metres.

A total of 15.9 tonnes of ballast is mounted on the upper structure, the ballast has a turning radius of 4.05 metres.

The crane is equipped with two 11-tonne hoist winches, both using 20 mm hoisting rope.

The main boom has a base length of 13 metres and can be extended in steps of 3 metres up to a maximum of 52 metres.

Here the crane was assembled with a 28 metre long main boom. In this configuration the crane can lift a maximum of 22.7 tonnes at a radius of 6.2 metres or 3.05 tonnes up to a radius of 25.3 metres. An attractive and robust crane from Crane-House!
