This Hitachi FK600 of Asiagroup from Singapore (SG) stood on their yard for maintenance works. It is a 150-tonne crane with lattice boom mounted on a 4-axle carrier.
The crane is mounted on a 4-axle Mitsubishi Fuso Lowboy carrier with 8x4-drive line. The two rear axles are powered by a Mitsubishi 8DC9, a 16-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 239 kW (320 hp). The two front axles are steerable. Attached to the bumper is a 10 tonne counterweight slab.
The outrigger base measures 5.76 x 7 meters.
For the transport over the road is it possible to separate the superstructure from the carrier. Attached to the superstructure are outriggers that can be used to push the superstructure vertically up from the carrier.
The superstructure is powered by an Isuzu 12PB1, a 6-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 186 kW (250 hp).
The counterweight on the superstructure weights 51 tonnes and has a 5.9 meter tailswing.
The main boom has an 18 meter base length and can be extended in 3 meter steps to a maximum length of 81 meters. The crane is fitted with two 15-tonne hoist winches each fitted with 20 mm wire rope.
Here was the crane fitted with a 27 meter main boom. A very sharp and special crane by Asiagroup!
