The Demag AC 100 of Koeman Berkhout is removing trees after a heavy storm in Hoogwoud (NL).
It is a 100 tonne crane on a 5 axle carrier. The crane's year of manufacture is 2002.
The carrier is powered by a DaimlerChrysler OM 502 LA, an 8 cylinder diesel engine with 476 hp. The axles 2, 4 and 5 are driven; the axles 1, 2, 4 and 5 are steerable.
Packed has the crane a 14.1 meter length, a 2.75 meter breadth and a 3.86 meter height. The transport weight is around 60 tonnes.
The crane is fitted here with 15.3 tonnes of counterweight, which is taken on the crane. The full counterweight weights 32 tonnes and has a 3.95 meter tailswing. The rest of the counterweight is taken on a 3 axle trailer.
The outrigger base measures 7.1 x 7 meters.
The crane has a 50.2 meter main boom, here the boom is extended 46.4 meters. With the 17 meter long folding jib is it possible to reach hook heights of 68 meters. The jib can be angled 0, 20 or 40 degrees.
Due to a heavy storm some trees were fallen on a barn.
The Demag brings the trees forwards where they will be cutted into small pieces inmediately.
