This inactive Demag B 410 LC could be photographed at an abandoned gravel pit near Dingolfing (DE). As a lifting crane is this a 32-tonne crane, but here was the machine used as a dragline.
The machine is powered by a Deutz F8L 413, an 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 103 kW (140 hp).
The undercarriage is 4.84 meters long and 2.85 meters wide. The mass of the machine is approx. 40 tonnes.
The crane is fitted with two 15-tonne winches.
The counterweight weights 8 tonnes and has a 3.8 meter tailswing.
Depending on the boom length could the B 410 LC used with a maximum 1.5 cubic meter dragline bucket. The line pull of the hoist cable is 6.7 tonnes.
The main boom has a 9 meter base length and can be extended in steps of 3 meters to a maximum length of 45 meters. On this site was the machine erected with an 18 meter lang main boom.
