Lifting of a machine by Bok Seng

A 55 tonne machine from Malaysia needed to be reloaded in Singapore to a different truck for further transport into the port. For the transport from Malaysia was Western Cineplex from Johor (MY) using this sharp Volvo FH16 520 with a 7-axle trailer.

For the reloading were a Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 and a ...

... Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 deployed. Both cranes are already prepared for the lifting.

The 55 tonne Toshiba injection moulding machine is hanging in the cranes. The Volvo can drive away from the load and return to home.

Each crane is lifting here about 27.5 tonnes on a 9 meter radius.

The main boom of the 200-tonne crane is extended here 22.2 meters, the main boom of the 350-tonne crane is extended 25 meters.

The combination of Bok Seng existing out of a MAN TGS 26.400 with 85-tonne low loader will transport the machine to the port.

The Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 was erected with full counterweight of 72 tonnes. The outrigger base measures 8.9 x 8.3 meters.

The Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 was erected with 60 tonnes of counterweight. The outrigger base measures 8.9 x 8.5 meters.

During the lifting was the Singapore Air Force practising for the National Day on August 9. Here is a CH-47D Chinook with a 30 meter long and 20 meter high flag flying by.

After the lifting could both cranes return to their parking on the yard. With thanks to Bok Seng!
