For the installation of a heavy pedestrian overhead bridge (POB) in Singapore (SG) was Asiagroup using their largest mobile cranes. The largest crane used by Asiagroup is this sharp Terex AC 1000, the crane is positioned onto the right position for the job here.
The other crane is this Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1. In Singapore are such jobs mostly done during the night to avoid delays and interruptions for the public transport and other traffic as much as possible.
The bridge was delivered by a sharp Volvo FH16 700, also of Asiagroup. The pedestrian overhead bridge has a mass of 210 tonnes.
The AC 1000 is set up and the rigging is prepared. The outrigger base of the crane measures 13.55 x 13.55 meters.
The crane is here rigged with 168 tonnes of counterweight. The counterweight has a 7.9 meter tailswing.
The LTM 1500-8.1 is fitted with 165 tonnes of counterweight and YSL superlift. Both cranes have the load now hooked on and the lift is ready to start.
The main boom of the AC 1000 is here extended to a length of 33.3 meters, the LTM 1500-8.1 is working here with a 31.7 meter long main boom.
When the bridge is lifted of the trailer are both cranes slewing to the left.
The bridge is now slewed between both cranes and will be positioned above the bearings.
Within 30 minutes is the bridge installed and the cranes can be dismantlad again. A very shap job by Asiagroup!
