This sharp Mercedes-Benz Actros 4163 of J. Brouwer & Zn. from Nieuwegein (NL) is driving mainly with counterweight parts for their Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 and tower crane parts.
The last generation Actros is now by Mercedes-Benz equipped with a 6-cylinder line engine. This truck is powered by the 15.6-liter Mercedes-Benz OM 473 LA with 625 hp.
Special with this truck is the very short wheel base, behind the front axle is now only the AdBlue tank installed.
Behind the cabine are two practical standing storage compartments made. Between them is the large diesel tank made, above that is the large Euro 6 muffler and on top are the five compressed-air tanks installed.
Attached is a 6-axle Nooteboom counterweight trailer, here loaded with parts of a Liebherr 280 EC-H 12 tower crane.
On this side it was only possible to install the battery behind the front axle. Usually is here the large Euro 6 muffler installed. There was no other possibility to reduce the wheel base by replacing the muffler into the equipment tower behind the cabin.
The Nooteboom OVB-102-06 has a maximum loading capacity of 68.2 tonnes.
A very sharp - according to the wishes of J. Brouwer - modified truck.
