This sharp Volvo FH16 660 of Mayer of Mayer from Burgberg (DE) stood parked after a long night transport along the German highway 9 in the direction of Berlin (DE), together with the DAF XF 460.
The truck was purchased used and was before in operation for Wiesbauer from Bietigheim-Bissingen (DE).
The truck is powered by a Volvo D16C, a 16-liter diesel engine with 660 hp. Behind the front axle are the muffler and the AdBluetank installed.
Behind the cabin are the large diesel tank and multiple storage compartments made. Multiple high-beam headlights on top are taking care for good vision rearwards in the dark.
Attached is a 2-axle Scheuerle low loader (ex-Kübler) with an oversized tank as cargo.
For the transport of an oversized tank from Kempten (DE) to Biessenhofen (DE) was Mayer using her sharp Volvo FH16 660.
The tank is 14 meters long and has a 4.8 meter diameter. The mass is about 19 tonnes and is loaded on the 2-axle Scheuerle low loader.
