Smarter SMQ600A - Keat Seng Piling

This interesting Smarter SMQ600A of Keat Seng Piling from Singapore (SG) could be photographed in a yard. It is a 60-tonne telescopic crane on crawler undercarriage with year of manufactur 2014.

At Keat Seng is the crane used as assist crane for foundation works. The undercarriage of the crane is 5.7 meters long and 4.76 meters wide. For the transport over the road is the width to be reduced to 3.3 meters.

In total is 18 tonnes of counterweight installed to the superstructure. The counterweight has a 3.9 meter tailswing.

The crane has a working weight of approx. 62 tonnes.

To unload the tracks during the adjustment in width are in total four hydraulic jacks mounted to the undercarriage. These cylinders push up the crane from the ground so that the tracks can be adjusted. It is also possible to remove the tracks to reduce the transport mass and dimensions.

The 5-part main boom has a 10.8 meter base length and extends four times to a maximum length of 40.2 meters. Over the fully extended main boom is the crane able to hoist maximum 8.3 tonnes.
