End of 2022 took Asiagroup from Singapore (SG) this impressive and sharp Sany SAC7000S7 into operation. It is a 700-tonne mobile crane mounted on a 7-axle carrier. This is at the moment the strongest Sany crane used in Singapore.
The undercarriage is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA, a 15.9-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 480 kW (653 hp). The undercarriage has a 14x8x14-drive line, where the axles 1 to 4 are powered and all axles are steerable.
In transit is the crane 20.77 meters long, 2.99 meters wide and 4 meter tall.
The crane is fitted with a 7-section main boom with six telescopic sections. The main boom has a 17.2 meter base length and extends to maximum 90.1 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 63 meter fixed jib or a 90 meter luffing jib.
During the transport over the road is the cabin folded behind the superstructure. During crane operation are maximum 163 tonnes of counterweight hanging on the superstructure.
The outrigger base measures 10.8 x 9.6 meters.
The superstructure is powered by a 6-cylinder diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz.
At Asiagroup is the crane used for various lifting jobs, here was the crane just returned to the yard from it's first job; the dismantling of a tower crane. With the long main boom is this a very suitable crane for such jobs.
The crane doesn't have a road registration and must be towed between sites. This is why there is no hook reefed.
A very sharp and impressive crane by Asiagroup! Many safe working hours are wished and many thanks for posing the crane.
