This Liebherr LTR 1100 of Wiesbauer from Heilbronn (DE) was used as a assist crane by the construction of a tower for a windturbine. It is a 100 tonne telescopic crane on crawler carriage.
The undercarriage is 5.05 meters wide and 6.41 meters long. For the transport over the road the undercarriage can be retrackted to 3.5 meters. When this is still to muc, the tracks with each 9.7 tonnes can be removed. The transport mass with tracks is 55.2 tonnes, without it is still 35.8 tonnes.
Between the tracks and the central counterweight are four hydraulics jacks built, thez are used to relieve the tracks by retrackting. Also the crane can load and unload itself when the tracks are removed.
The crane is fitted with 32 tonnes of counterweight, existing out of a 10 tonne base plate, a 10 tonne wide plate and in total four blocks of each 3 tonnes. The counterweight has a 4.42 meter tailswing.
Between the tracks is on both sides central counterweight mounted, per side 7.5 tonnes.
The main boom has a 11.5 meter base length and extends 5 times to a 52 meter length. The main boom is extendable with a 10.8 or 19 meter folding jib. With two lattice extensions, each 7 meters long, between the main boom and folding jib a hook height of 84 meters can be reached!
