Liebherr LTM 1500 - Van Marwijk
The Liebherr LTM 1500 of Van Marwijk during the assembly of two tower cranes in Alkmaar (NL).
The crane outrigger dimensions are 10 x 9.6 meters.
Of the LTM 1500 are meanwhile over 200 pieces deliverd world wide.
The counterweight is here 90 tonnes but can be weighted up to 165 tonnes.

This is the first LTM 1500 in the Netherlands and at the moment the only one with old cab. Boekestijn and Mammoet own meanwhile a LTM 1500-8.1.
The first truck is this DAF 105XF 510 with 6 axle flatbed. On the trailer are the outrigger pads, 30 tons of counterweight and frame transported.
Packed is this crane already 20 meters long.
An imposing and sharp crane.

Here are the last two mast sections hoisted, the overall mast height is then about 90 metres, free-standing.
Followed by the slewing ring and tower head, about 22.5 tonnes. The tower crane is a Liebherr 550 EC-H.
The Liebherr LTM 1500 of Van Marwijk is fitted with a 70 meter luffing jib.
It just fits.

The year of manufacture is 1999, at this moment this is the last LTM 1500 in the Netherlands with old cab.
The next day the counter jib and jib will be mounted.

The crane was put up on a narrow location.
Fitted with a 84 meter luffing jib, the max. length is 91 meters.
The tower crane, a Liebherr 160 EC-B, was put up on top of the building and will be used for renovation work.
