This sharp Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 of Knoll from Schillingsfürst (DE) was used as a assist crane during the assembly of wind turbines. It is a 200-tonne crane with year of manufacture 2014.
The undercarriage is powered by a Liebherr 6-cylinder diesel engine with 503 hp. This crane has the standard 10x6 drive line with the axles 2, 4 and 5 driven. Optionally the first axle can be driven also. All axles are steerable.
The outrigger base measures 8.9 x 8.3 meters, or half 8.9 x 5.5 meters.
The crane is fitted here with the full counterweight of 72 tonnes, that has a 4.85 meter tailswing.
On the other side is the crane fitted on half outrigger base, the give easier access to trucks to drive by.
During the transport over the road is the crane 15.81 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters high. The transport mass is around 60 tonnes.
At the same construction site was also the Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 of Knoll erected.
The 7-part main boom has a 13.2 meter base length and has a maximum length of 72 meters. The main boom can be extended by a 36 meter jib. The main boom is extended here 17.7 meters, the crane could lift in this configuration 125.5 tonnes when the correct reefing is used.
