This sharp Liebherr LR 1300 of Helling from Schwäbisch Gmund (DE) was deployed on a construction site in Erolzheim (DE) for the assembly of precast concrete elements.
The crane's year of manufacture is 2015.
Between the tracks is in total 53.6 tonnes of central counterweight installed, that exists out of four slabs with each 13.4 tonnes. The central counterweight shapes a sharp flat surface on the undercarriage, so that the cabin and sides of the superstructure can be reached safely in each position.
The crane's undercarriage is 9.65 meters long and 8.3 meters wide.
The tracks are 9.65 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 1.465 meters tall, the transport mass is 26.2 tonnes. These 1.5 meter wide tracks are optionally, standard are the tracks 1.2 meters wide.
The crane is powered by a Liebherr D9508 A7, a 16.2-liter 8-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 450 kW (612 hp). The engine poweres multiple hydraulic pumps, all crane functions can be used simultaneously. In the superstructure are two hoist winches with a 15 ton line pull installed.
Here was the crane fitted with 114 tonnes of counterweight on the superstructure, that exisits out of a 14 tonne base plate, eight slabs with 10 tonned and four slabs with 5 tonnes. The full counterweight weights 124 tonnes, two 5-tonne slabs are still missing here. The counterweight has a 6.98 meter tailswing.
The crane was fitted here with a 23 meter main boom with a 23 meter luffing jib.
The luffing jib has a minimum length of 20 meters and can be extend in 3 meter steps to a maximum length of 113 meters. The 113 meter long luffing jib can be combined with a 59 meter main boom.
The crane was used to install heavy precast concrete elements for a new structure. Here is a sharp combination of Diepold from Batzhausen (DE) unloaded.
Some weeks later was the luffing jib extended to 35 meters and was the counterweight enlarged to 124 tonnes.
The LR 1300 is sharing the construction site with a Liebherr 380 EC-B.
A very sharp crane by Helling! They are deploying multiple crawler cranes, including two Liebherr LR 1600/2.
