The largest crane of ESB Kranverleih from Mittelbiberach (DE) is this sharp Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 with year of manufacture 2016. The crane was used in the summer of 2016 by exchanging chillers from a school in Biberach an der Riss (DE).
It is a 200 tonne crane on a 5 axle undercarriage. The axles 2, 4 and 5 are driven. All axles are steerable.
The undercarriage is powered by a 6 cylinder Liebherr diesel engine with 503 hp. Attached to the engine is a 12-speed ZF automatic gearbox. On the road a maximum speed of 80 km/h can be accieved.
ESB Kranverleih is also operation a Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1. The fleet only exists out of Liebherr telescopic cranes.
The outrigger base measures 8.9 x 8.3 meters, or half 8.9 x 5.5 meters.
Fitted with 52 tonnes of counterweight, existing out of a 12 tonne base plate with four slabs with each 10 tonnes. The counterweight can be enlarged by two hang-on slabs each 10 tonnes to 72 tonnes. The tailswing is 4.85 meters.
The 7 part main boom has 6 telescopic sections that can be extended up to a 72 meter length. The main boom is here extended 58.3 meters. The main boom can be enlarged using a 22 meter bi-fold swingaway jib.
In this configuration the crane lifts maximum 19.7 tonnes on a 11 meter radius and 3.9 tonnes on a 53 meter radius.
For the transport of the counterweights is ESB using two trailers, the first one, a 3 axle Griener flat bed, takes 30 tonnes with it.
On the second, a 3 axle Linttrailer semi-low loader, takes 22 tonnes of counterweight and the outrigger pads with it.
Packed has the crane a 15.4 meter length, a 3 meter breadth and a 4 meter height. A very sharp crane!
