Exchancing rotor blades by Wagenborg Nedlift

Along the A7, near to Abbekerk (NL) are standing six Enercon E-48 windmills since 2005. In 2011 the windmills became new rotor blades in order to perform better.

For this, two cranes of Wagenborg Nedlift are used. A Liebherr LTM 1080/1 and a LTM 1120/1.

The blade is here hanging in the cranes, both fitted with folding jib.

One single blade weights about 2 tonnes.

The rotor blades can be transported per three in the transport frames.

Both cranes are from Wagenborg's yard in Voorschoten (NL).

The LTM 1080/1 was fitted with 16 tonnes of counterweight and 19 meters of folding jib.

The LTM 1120/1 was fitted with 15 tonnes of counterweight and 11.2 meters of folding jib.
